Botanical Distillation Line

Distillation separates aromatic oils from plants. The plant material is positioned in the system without direct contact with water. Steam rising from boiling water below passes through the plants and carries volatile oils to the condenser. The steam and oils condense into liquid, where differences in density cause the phases to separate. Producers recover these oils for use in a range of applications. The distillation line can produce aromatic oils such as rose, lavender and peppermint oil.
