Falling Film Evaporator
The falling film evaporator is a high-efficiency concentration unit used in fruit molasses production lines. Liquid is distributed as a thin film flowing down the tube surfaces. Heat transfer occurs as the film flows, evaporating water from the product until the molasses reaches the required concentration.
Open the product catalogueVacuum operation lowers the product's boiling temperature, reducing heat exposure and preserving the molasses' nutritional properties and natural colour. This is particularly beneficial for heat-sensitive products.
Short-duration heat treatment enables the falling film evaporator to deliver high efficiency without compromising product quality. Its energy-saving design, continuous operation and low tendency to scale make it a reliable solution for production lines.
